Practical modules

  • Reciprocal roof
  • Green roof
The living layers of soil and plants, creates an insulation chamber that does not allow cold and heat though it, being the main benefit of thermal regulation. The green roof blends with the surroundings, integrates to the habitat area, and produces more oxygen, acting like a filter to clean the polluted air.
The lawn or plants, keep the structure together with its roots, helps the rainwater to run slower  and therefore helps with a smoother drainage.
When you put a thick and well built water proofing layer, it’s durability is dramatically increased and could be cheaper that a conventional roof.
  • Natural earth walls (10 different techniques)
We mainly use, the materials that we have in the building site.
The pleasure of using mud and the many extremely creative possibilities that it offers
We will explain the different mud building techniques and their best for each weather condition.
We build breathing walls, that keep us warm in winter and cool in summer, our walls take care of us …
  • Natural renders, plastering, finishing and paints
After the construction of the walls, we teach the different techniques like cleaning, thick rendering, thin rendering and plastering.
The materials are prepared specifically for this purpose, going through a refinement process, that will achieve a smooth and uniform wall, ready for painting with natural paints. This is one of the most creative moments of all the process, and could be the best situation to let your imagination flow and leave the space with the colour and shapes we like most …
  • Materials preparation
We will share the material preparation process. Teaching the mud, straw, water and other quantities needed to apply the techniques.
